• Understand the referral process for adults with unmet literacy, numeracy or digital needs
• Be aware of options available to agencies/communities/workplaces to have further engagement.


Course Content

This four-hour training (CPD) programme aims to introduce the concept of literacy and raise awareness of the extent of unmet literacy needs in Ireland. It aims to explore the literacy landscape and identify areas and ways that workplaces can become more literacy friendly. It encourages participants to look at their workplace through a literacy lens. Participants will gain awareness of the referral process and pathways to further engagement for adults seeking support and assistance.

100% attendance required.

This training (CPD) course is suitable for employees working in the public and private sector and will be of particular interest and value to workplaces who deal directly with members of the public/clients.
